Is Beauty Skin Deep???

So in the true name of beauty I have to apologize for my absence. However it was for a very good cause. Have you ever felt like when you looked in the mirror you didn’t like the person staring back at you? Have you ever not liked a single part of yourself and wish that you could fix it? Your nose, Your lips, Stomach or Butt? I know you have because no female thinks she’s perfect!

I have had those thoughts about myself for a very long time and recently I have made one of my dreams come true. I have always wanted cosmetic surgery and I have finally been blessed to. On January 13,2022 I got my Tummy Tuck, Lipo and Muscle Repair done in Florida.

One thing I have learned throughout my process is you have to have a great support system. Throughout this process my husband and mom have been behind and beside me every step of the way.

I needed to lose about 50lbs to even meet the requirements and be safe for surgery. So I started doing keto and I rocked it! Of course I had cheat days but it was never hard for me to get back to it. I lost 52lbs in about 6 months. I loved my results but I still wasn’t in love with what I saw when I looked in the mirror.

And that was my soul purpose for making the decision I did. All too often as woman we make decisions about ourselves based on what others and society thinks is beautiful. When what really matters is the way we feel and think about ourselves. Now I can’t say that I’m in love with the person I see now but I’m sure that once the swelling and healing process is over, IM GOING TO BE IN LOVE WITH MYSELF WHEN I LOOK IN THE MIRROR!!!
